Install on Wi‑Fi before you fly

Short answer

After checkout we provision your plan and show a QR code in the PuffinFi web app and email. Install on Wi‑Fi before you fly, then turn on data when you arrive.

Steps

1. Wait until your order shows ready to install and the QR appears under /account/esims (you also get an email).
2. Connect to stable Wi‑Fi at home or the airport.
3. Follow iPhone or Android steps to add the eSIM.
4. On landing, enable the travel eSIM line and data roaming if required.

Tips

• Installing early does not usually start the plan clock—most plans start when you first connect in the destination. See when your eSIM starts.
• Screenshot or bookmark your install page in case airport Wi‑Fi is slow.

If you are about to fly and still have no QR after payment, email support@puffinfi.com with your order reference and departure time.
